Administrative Assistant Ops

Summary:
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Operations Department. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
Answer phone calls, coordinate meetings and conferences
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, record tracking, etc.
Record, compile, retrieve, report, cost track, and analyze information for special projects
Sort & distribute mail
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and co-workers
Assist HR with timesheets and onboarding of new hires
Work with Account Payable on project cost tracking, invoicing, and PO activities
Handle other administrative duties as assigned
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED
Required experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record
Effective communication skills and organizational skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word is required
